   Initiated by our Association, China International Valve Exhibition was held from Nov,20-22 in 2006 with a total area of 26,000square meters. The first exhibition had over400 top internal and external valve enterprises participating. Almost all the top internal valve enterprises exhibited their advanced products and technology as well as more than 40 world-renowned enterprises 、the solely foreign-funded enterprises and the joint venture, such as American  GE, US Tyco, Samshin limited, neles-Jamesbury, Watts 、Crane、Fujikin incorporation, OKM, KSB, DOTT, watts, Germany Linde AG Engineering Division and Japan Valve Association  etc.

The second China International Valve Exhibition will be held from Oct,28-30, 2008 in China International Exhibition Center(Beijing). With an area exceeding 30,000square meters, it is estimated that more than 300 internal and external valve manufacturers will attend this exhibition, at the same time, almost 50,000-70,000 professional audiences will visit this exhibition, so this exhibition will be an unprecedented one in terms of scale and effect. During the exhibition, government officials from national development and reformation commission, leaders and experts from many industries like china power industry, petrochemical industry, and metallurgy etc will be invited to visit this exhibition. In order to call for more valve users to visit our exhibition, we also invite China Electricity Council (CEC), China Petroleum And Chemical Industry Association (CPCIA), China Iron ＆Steel Association (CISA) as cosponsors.

Meanwhile, during the exhibition, our association will also hold a forum called China International Valve Forum, providing a platform for exhibitors to introduce the valves' superiority to the end-users in detail. October in 2008 is the next month after the closing ceremony of Bejing Olympic Games, and also is the most beautiful month in Beijing, which will be very attractive for both exhibitors and visitor.  So this exhibition will be definitely an "Olympic games" for international valve manufacturers. ＊ Thermal Power Industry

Energy-based economy is the basic element of china national economic development, whereas power plants need a lot of valve products. China's thermal power plants have a total generating capacity up to 600million kilowatts, which makes china the third of its kind in the world. It is predicted that china's generating capacity will reach up to 1.1billion kilowatts to 2020. Thermal power plant needs a lot of valves.

＊ Nuclear Power Industry

Up to now, through out the world, only 33 countries altogether have 440 nuclear power plants, with power generating capacity accounting for 17 percent of total power generating capacity. Whereas, china only established 6 plants which could generate 1.4 percent of china total electricity. So, china national government proposed a plan to actively develop nuclear power industry, designing to establish power plants with total generating capacity up to 40 million kilowatts. 18 million kilowatts power plants are under the construction, and over 10 more power plants have newly approved to be established. As we all know, over several thousands of valves will be needed for a nuclear power plant. Therefore, in the next decade to come, china will need a large quantity of nuclear valves. In another word, annual profit of several billion Yuan RMB is in china nuclear valve and pump markets.

  ＊ Steel Industry

   Steel industry is a basic industry to a country's economy. With 422million ton steel output in 2006, china, for consecutive 11 years, ranked the first in the world. The concerning state department made proposals of macro-scale operations, energy-saving and discharge reducing, which needs a lot of efficient and energy-saving valves.

  ＊ Petro-Chemical Industry

 More valve products will be needed in petro-chemical industry, such as macro-scale ethylene, PTA equipments etc.

＊    Natural Gas And Oil Pipelines

Natural gas and oil pipelines have been established, Extension pipeline of transporting natural gas from west to east, the second pipeline of transporting natural gas from Shaanxi Province to Beijing have been under construction, and over 4000kilometer pipeline of transporting natural gas from Sichuang to the east has also been initiated with budgeted investment surpassing 62.3billion Yuan RMB. The second pipeline of transporting gas from west to east with a total length of over 7000 kilometers will also be built which will transferring gas from Russian Siberia to the northeast of china.  Large storage station for liquefied natural gas in Zhejiang province, Fujian province, Guangdong province will be built. A large quantity of ball valves for pipelines of transporting gas and oil will be needed, which will provide unprecedented opportunities for valve enterprises both home and abroad.

＊ Other Industries

Ranking the top in the world, china has about coal production of 2.3billion tons in 2006. china's coal industry requires large amount of reliable valves. Moreover, fertilizer and coal chemical industry also need a lot of valves featuring wear resistant, anti-flushing, high temperature resistant.

Up to now, china domestic valve products can't thoroughly meet the demands, almost all high-quality valve products that the thermal power, nuclear power, and petro-chemical industries etc need have to depend on the import, each year valve products worth about several billion US dollars need to be imported.
