On May 21th, 2008, the second session of the fifth General Assembly of China Valve Industry Association was held in hangzhou, about 300 people from our member companies attended this great event. Standing Vice president Zhang zonglie, Standing Vice-President And Secretary General Of CVA Song Yinli presided over the meeting. The following is the minutes of this meeting:

1, President Fang SiPing delivered a speech for the opening ceremony.

2, Secretary General Song Yinli made a report with the topic ¡° Strive for rejuvenating the valve industry through cooperation and peaceful development¡±, he reported the work done by China Valve Industry Association in 2006 and 2007, and proposed the work plan in the next half of 2008 and also in 2009.

3, With the vision of promoting the valve industry development, standing vice-president Zhang Zonglie made a speech with the topic ¡°Grasp opportunity, strive for development¡±. He proposed the development trend of the valve industry in terms of the situation and the target china¡¯s valve industry is now confronted with.

4, Standing Vice-President Ye JiXuan, with a speech whose topic is ¡°let us welcome the next splendid twenty years in china valve industry¡±, briefly reviewed the development in the past two decades in china¡¯s valve industry and also looked forward into the next splendid two decades to come in china¡¯s valve industry.

5, In this meeting, we specially invited the Secretary General Of China Power Technology Association JiangZheSheng and senior engineer of Sinopec Engineering Incorporation YangQing Zhao respectively made a report about the analysis of the valve market in china power industry and petrochemical industry.

6, Secretary of China National Development And Reformation Committee Huang Li attended the meeting and gave a speech with the topic ¡°grasp the opportunity, promote the prospering of china¡¯s equipment fabricating Industry¡±. She informed of the national economic development situation and proposed the task and requirements for the valve industry. Finally As a vice-chairman of CVA, she made a summary for this General Assembly.

    7, The meeting unanimously agreed that four companies should be exalted from an ordinary member company to a council unit of CVA, these four companies are as follows:

Anhui Tongdu Valve Co.,Ltd

China Joch Group Co.,Ltd

                      Dazhong Valve Group Co.,Ltd

Four formerly our member companies were canceled their membership, they are:

             New-Cent Valve Manufacturing Co.,Ltd

             Beijing Yichuang Valve Manufacturing Co.,Ltd

             Tianjin Bohai Valve Manufacture Co.,Ltd

             Shanghai High Pressure Valve Factory .,Ltd

The above four valve companies were canceled the membership of our association.

At the same time, in this meeting, we also newly absorbed thirteen valve companies to be member companies.
