In order to strengthen the communication and cooperation of the valve industry between china and Russia, NPAA delegation (Scientific £¦Industrial Valve Manufacturers Association)including 11 people visited our association as well as some of our member companies from March 23 to 30, 2008.

     From March 23 to 27, the Russian delegation visited our member companies such as Shanghai Valve Factory Co., Ltd.,  Shanghai Neles-Jamesbury Valve Co.,Ltd.  Zhejiang Wuzhou Valve  Co.,Ltd, Xuanda Industrial Group Co.Ltd, Zhejiang Chaoda Valve Co.,Ltd., Jiangnan Valve Co.,Ltd, Baoyi Group Co.,Ltd, etc, through this visit, many trade contracts have been signed. And also, through this visit, the Russian valve companies and NPAA got a better understanding of china valve companies and the development of china valve industry. There is a great prospect of the cooperation between china valve companies and Russian¡¯s. On March 29, a meeting was held for the further understanding and the discussion of future cooperation between china and Russian valve industries. In the meeting, NPAA  president Mr Vladimir Makarov introduced in details Russian Scientific £¦Industrial Valve Manufacturers Association and the development of Russian Valve industry, he said that he was deeply impressed by this visit, and he could see a great prospect of the cooperation between the two associations and the valve companies in the two countries. NPAA president Mr Vladimir Makarov said that valves produced by china valve companies featured a good quality and cheap price. Now Russia needs a great amount of valves in the fields of nuclear power industry, power industry, petroleum industry, chemical industry etc, whereas, china has high quality valves in the low price, he said the two countries could establish a long-term cooperation. In the meeting, the chairman of our association Mr Sui and the Secretary General Mr Song expressed welcome and great hospitality, Mr Sui introduced the current development and the localization process of china¡¯s valve industry. He expressed that the two associations could cooperate further to jointly promote the development of the valve industry both in china and in Russia.
